  8.    Gamers Arsenal was put together by SysOps for SysOps.  It's as simple
  9.    as that.  Let me explain how Gamers Arsenal was made easy for you to use:

  11.    [1] FILE LISTINGS - Unlike some discs that have little to no file listings,
  12.    or at best in the QBBS format (the hardest of any listing to convert),
  13.    Arsenal Computer provides file listings in single line PCBoard, Spitfire,
  14.    and QBBS formats.  These file listings are provided both in the
  15.    sub-directory being described and in a separate sub-directory for ease
  16.    of use with doors.

  18.    [2] ORIGINAL SCANS - With most discs, you will find that you are
  19.    seeing the same images over and over again.  Not so with Arsenal discs!
  20.    Our discs are orignal scans that you won't find on any other disc prior
  21.    to our publication.  If you see AR*.GIF scans on other discs, it's
  22.    because they were stolen from ours, not because they did them first.

  24.    [4] PROBLEM FILE SCAN - We check out each and every file that goes on
  25.    an Arsenal disc as closely as possible.  We check for the following
  26.    problems:

  28.        <1> Virus infection
  29.        <2> CRC Corruption
  30.        <3> Items not licenced for Shareware Distribution
  31.        <4> Items that might cause legal problems of other nature.

  33.    When you buy an Arsenal disc, you are getting what we believe is the
  34.    SAFEST shareware disc on the market.  It's as simple as that.

  36.    [5] CATALOG FILES - The easiest way to make your callers happy AND
  37.    keep their online time to a minimum is to provide "catalog files."
  38.    These are "thumbnail collections" of the GIF files here that allow
  39.    people to download the catalog and see small versions of the real
  40.    GIF files.  That way, they are not wasting time downloading images
  41.    that they will not want to see.  Have you ever downloaded an image,
  42.    and after spending 25 minutes of time, you find out that it's something
  43.    that you don't care about?  With catalog images, no one has to do that
  44.    again.  It's simply too nice of a feature to pass by.

  46.    [6] SMALL DIRECTORIES - Have you ever waded through a directory with
  47.    2,600 images in one place?  I have, and it's no fun.  Arsenal discs
  48.    are all divided down to keep such things from occuring.

  50.    [7] NO BBS ADS - The last thing that you want to do is have someone
  51.    else's BBS ads all over everything your callers get from you, isn't it?
  52.    If you are like most SysOps, you take the time to strip out ZIP headers
  53.    from ZIP files that came from other boards, and nuke any of those annoying
  54.    R&E type ad files, right?  Well, you won't have to worry about that
  55.    with these files.  The images have no ads on them to spoil them, and
  56.    the text files and ZIP files only have disclaimers on them for your
  57.    protection... they don't try to lure your callers away from you.
